Manhattan Apartment

Manhattan, 2022

A renovated and redecorated apartment with an inviting and welcoming ambience.

This stunning, custom-designed apartment was renovated by GRADE Architecture before Electrix Design took over the decoration. The addition of the custom millwork in the grand living room was executed by New Day Woodwork.

For the furniture we opted for items from Artefacto, The Invisible Collection, Kelly Wearstler, B&B Italia and Knoll, which helped bring our vision of an elegant yet cozy pied-à-terre to life.

In order to incorporate the owner’s love for CryptoArt, digital frames were used throughout in conjunction to physical artworks, to display their NFT collection.

Miami Apartment

Miami, 2022

In this secondary residence for our young clients, we wanted the space to allow and nurture the client's love for entertaining. We aimed for a sophisticated yet timeless style that wouldn’t compete with the eternal water views that surround the condo.

We incorporated the client’s personality through subtle hints of brass, blue details and cascading orchids around the home. Carefully selected pieces from brands like Artefacto, Restoration Hardware, Kelly Wearstler and Minotti were used throughout. The millwork was customized and produced by Ornare, using lacquer varnish and wood veneer, which gave a lavish feel to the space.

A modern, cozy and refined-Miami style home.

Miami Home

Miami, 2022

For this project we meant to create a meeting space for our client's informal entertaining lifestyle and to accommodate pockets of people while hosting large groups. The purpose of creating a secondary smaller sitting room divided by backless X-legged ottomans was to allow for a seamless integration with no hard dividers. These pockets are repeated throughout the residence for places and workstations for guests to work, socialize, read and "hang out".

Brands like Artefacto and Restoration Hardware combined with the client's proprietary items such as the marble slab table and light fixture really helped bring everything together. The crystal vases and ornaments that complete the look are from Artefacto as are the wooden chairs in the living area, which are part of a specialized collection for the US.

São Paulo Apartment III

Brazil, 2022

In this project, we aimed to achieve a perfect union between new and classic. We maintained and restored some elements such as the parquet flooring and original woodwork, while adding more modern touches through the furniture, lighting and window treatments.

Brands such as Artefacto, Ralph Lauren Home, Brazilian-native Jocal Furniture & Antiques and Jonathan Adler fabrics helped turn this vision into reality. Custom millwork by Bontempo and Scholl Móveis completed the look, also window treatments crafted by Arthur Decor and Uniflex.

The clients' art collection and the Brazilian stones used, such as Calacatta Paraná marble, also helped give this space a unique personality.

São Paulo Apartment II

Brazil, 2021

When we first got the client’s brief we thought it’d be a challenge: she wanted a classic european look and he loved contemporary brazilian design.

For him we looked for references in industrial design and modernist pieces, while always bringing the Brazilian identity to the project, both through design and through traditional materials that exalted the brazilian and native culture.

For her we focused on the most romantic details of european decor such as boiserie wall frames, joinery with classic machining and more exuberant wallpapers.

The result was excellent. We joined both aesthetic references with the love of both customers for vibrant colors and marble along with several pieces from brands such as Santa Mônica, Natuzzi Italia, Kelly Wearstler, BoConcept, Jader Almeida, Dpot and Designer's Guild.

Noble but austere elements, combined with emblems of mid-century brazilian modernism led us to this result. We couldn't be happier.

Penthouse Project

Brazil, 2019

This penthouse design in São Paulo aimed to create an eclectic, elegant and functional space, having as its inspiration: Art Deco meets European Classicism, with a hint of tropical sensuality.

The studio opted for a mixture of Brazilian materials and local craftsmanship for the finishing touches, as well as international designers for the lighting and furniture picks, such as: Tom Dixon, Tricia Guild, Jonathan Adler, Restoration Hardware, Tuuci, Vitra, Luxxu and DelightFull, among others. Key pieces from Brazilian furniture brands Ornare, Artefacto and Beach & Country were also incorporated.

São Paulo Apartment I

Brazil, 2018

This project aimed to give a young and "cool" air to the residence, where we chose to give a new approach to glamor with a bit of mystery.

The predominant color palette is composed of dark tones, highlighted by the black lacquered wooden floor and the sequence of gray ceramic tiles on the main wall of the room.

The space has been optimized with technology to provide a multitude of functions within the same environments. The formal living room can be opened into an American kitchen, converted into a "home theater" with a suspended projection screen, also becoming a cozy space with a volcanic stone fireplace.

Metals and concrete were juxtaposed with faux fur and velvet and silk fabrics. The key pieces by Tom Dixon and Artefacto, together with the custom-made woodwork, made this residence fun, young, chic and "internationally modern".
